Amy & Ciaran's elegant winter wedding...

We had the pleasure of planning and styling Amy Hartnett and Ciaran Sheehan's elegant winter wedding at The Grainstore at Ballymaloe House at the end of 2018. The couple, who are both originally from county Cork in Ireland but relocated to Australia, knew when it came to their wedding day they wanted to return home to where it all began.

"We worried that it might be difficult planning [a wedding] from Australia but it actually may have been easier in many ways as we ended up making decisions really quickly and easily based on vendors we saw online, often through social media! Leila was a huge help as I had many ideas but knew I wouldn’t be able to execute them alone. Ballymaloe House and The Grainstore is a beautiful venue and I had a good idea of what I wanted in terms of making the room look really special for our wedding! However, the Grainstore is pretty much a blank canvas and I wouldn’t have been able to make it look like it did without the help of Leila and Alix... I explained what I wanted,I knew I didn’t have to worry. I sent a few photos and [Leila] immediately knew what I was after!"
